This was the nanotech 2014

nanotech 2014

February 5th, 2014 – Dormagen, Germany – The nanotech started with the OE-A and JAPERA meeting in Tokyo this year. The international and Japanese association in the field of Printed and Organic Electronics came together to encourage cooperating business. The meeting was perfectly organized by Prof. Kamate and had a great response so all companies were open for productive discussions regarding future cooperation.

The exhibition itself was a great start for Coatema: Over 48,000 people visited the nanotech 2014 within the three exhibition days.

The roll-to-roll coaters and printers have still a great significance in the sector of OLEDs and integrated sensoric. Therefore the Smartcoater, Coatema’s roll-to-roll laboratory coater including a 5-in-1 application system, enjoyed the greatest interest. But many visitors wanted to know more about Coatema’s special purpose machinery too. This tells us that the product range is still expanding.

Lots of visitors were also interested in our newest high-tech machinery for laboratory coating and printing, the Thin Film Coater & Printer. The unit is designed to combine highly accurate applications of sub-micrometer layers and can be used for many purposes which require a high level result.

We are excited to see how the Asian market will develop.

But first we are off to the next exhibition in Phoenix, USA. The 2014Flex is a multi-disciplinary event addressing global technical and business developments impacting the sector’s value and supply chains.
